宇宙飛行士を目指していた高校生の頃に失明に至る難病、網膜色素変性症が発覚しました。それから徐々に視力を失っていく中では辛いこと苦しいこともたくさんありましたが、今は”障がいからたくさんのことを学ぶことができた”と感じています。
感謝の心は人生を照らし、多様性への理解はレジリエンスを育みます。VUCAと呼ばれる不安定な時代。今だからこそ、私が学んできたことを伝えたい。パラアスリートとしてチャレンジを続け、それを発信することで社会のポジティブな変化を加速します。座右の銘は”一日一生”。全身全霊で一緒に進んでいきましょう。

When I was a high school student aiming to become an astronaut, I was diagnosed an incurable disease (retinitis pigmentosa). After that, I gradually lost my eyesight. However now I feel that I was able to learn a lot of things from my disability.
Being grateful for everything enriches your life. And understanding diversity makes you resilient. Now is an unstable era called VUCA. And I want to share what I’ve learned from my experiences.
I will continue to take on challenges and share my challenges to accelerate positive changes in society. my motto is “Do my best as if each day were my whole life”. Let’s grow together.
